Homies was established in 1998 by Harold D. Rose who Grandmothers cooking inspired his love for baking.
Serving several years as a Mess Cook in The United States Navy, he was in charge of food preparation and cleanliness perfecting his skills serving a crew of 500.
Building on his military experience he joined American Hawaiian Cruises there he was ships baker responsible for the production of all shipboard pastries.
Harold’s generosity and charisma would place him into a position as a Radio Personality and Promotions Coordinator as a public speaker for various school and community functions, providing field trips and lectures for the local San Diego area YMCA, schools and youth groups.
